My name is Jennifer and I am a mom to 6 beautiful children.
I came into web design when my friends and I decided to open an online hair accessories boutique. We could not find a website design that we loved and felt represented our style accurately. So I taught myself how to design a website. I picked up Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Front page and I have never looked back. I fell in love with designing websites and every night, after I put the kids to bed, I would teach myself everything I could. Within mere weeks, I created and installed my own website. And then the week after that, I did it again. And again. Realizing that I could not keep changing my website, I was encouraged to open my own website template company. I went through a few names until I finally found the one that truly reflects me and what my website template company is about….and This Chick Designs was born!
I find inspiration in just about everything. From an outfit my daughter may wear to a pattern I may see while walking through the store. It is such fun to take an inspiration and build an entire website around it! And I can’t wait to create a website for you!
Caleb James Edouard has arrived 5 weeks early. He was born on May 4, 2010 at 10:20 am. He weighs 6 lbs and 2 ozs and measures 19 1/4 inches long. He is currently in the Newborn ICU until he is well enough to go home.
UPDATE: Caleb came home on Mother's Day! He is doing very well at home and adjusting to his family.
