stylishly affordable boutique web design & more...
Want to set up a website but not sure where to start? I've outlined a few simple steps to help you get your business online....
Step 1. Register a Domain Name.
A domain name is the "address" of your new online boutique. You may register your domain with a registrar such as GoDaddy.com.
Step 2. Sign Up for Web Hosting.
Your web host is like a "landlord" for your web template, graphics, photos, text, etc. You will pay a monthly fee to your web hosting provider to "house" your online store on their server. Your new web host will install a site-builder/shopping cart which enable you to add and maintain your own products, categories, photos and text. This Chick Designs works with the Web Hosting Partners listed here.
Step 3. Choose and Purchase Your Web Template.
Your web template will function as the design framework for the sitebuilder/shopping cart that your new host will install on your web hosting account. The template is used to populate all of your site pages.
What Happens After You Make Your Purchase?
Your templatewill install your template within the turnaround times listed here. If I require any additional info, I will contact you right away. You can begin adding content to your site through your store admin area even before the template has been installed. The template does not interfere with site content, pages, categories, products, etc. Once your template has been installed, I will email you to let you know that installation has been completed. This email also contains info on helping you set up your new template. After installation, if you require any changes, please feel free to contact me.
